Client Services
R.E.A.C.H. provides support services for individuals whose lives have been impacted by sexual violence. Some of the services available in Oxford County, and the town of Harrison and Bridgton include:
-A 24-hour Sexual Assault Hotline offering crisis intervention and support to survivors of sexual assault, their families and friends. The sexual assault may be recent or have happened years ago.
-Volunteer Advocates who will accompany a survivor who chooses to seek medical attention, report to the police, or go through the criminal justice system.
-Our S.A.R.T. (Sexual Assault Response Team) coordinator guides victims and survivors through the legal and medical process.
-Trained Educators to provide Adolescent Awareness and Risk Reduction programs to all area middle and high schools. Educators are also available to provide anti-bullying and safety programs to elementary schools.
-A Source of Information regarding available community services and information regarding medical, legal and law enforcement issues.
-Community Education dedicated to increasing awareness about sexual assault and its prevention.
-Support Groups for adult and adolescent women and men survivors who are in the healing process.
-Lending Library, a selection of books, and videos available to the public.
-All services are confidential and free of charge
